As expected, Arizona Cardinals Starting right tackle Kelvin Beachum is active for today’s game against the Washington Commanders and is expected to start.

Beachum injured his hamstring Thursday before last week’s game against the Detroit Lions and was inactive. Practice squad elevation Jackson Barton started, but suffered a toe injury late in the game and was replaced by practice squad elevation Charlie Heck, who has been with the team since on September 11. Heck was elevated again Saturday and will be the swing tackle.

A slight surprise inactive is defensive lineman Naquan Jones, who was placed on the active roster last week after Khyiris Tonga injured his knee against the Lions. Tonga is inactive for Sunday’s match. Angelo Blackson, active on the defensive line, was elevated to the practice squad Saturday. He was signed to the practice squad the day before Heck.

In addition to Tonga and Jones, tight end Trey McBride (concussion), defensive back Darren Hall, outside linebacker Jesse Luketa, center/guard Jon Gaines II and wide receiver Xaver Weaver are inactive for the Cardinals.

With McBride not playing, tight end Travis Vokolek is active for the first time this season.

For the Commanders, inactives are running back Austin Ekeler (concussion), wide receiver Jamison Crowder (calf), defensive end Clelin Ferrell (knee), quarterback Sam Hartman, safety Darrick Forrest, linebacker Dominique Hampton and guard Chris Paul.

Hartman is designated as the third emergency quarterback. The Commanders elevated defensive end Andre Jones Jr. and running back Chris Rodriguez Jr. from the practice squad on Saturday and both are active.
