THE Arizona Cardinals announced Tuesday the release of cornerback Keion Crossen and safety Jason Taylor II from the practice squad, leaving two vacancies to fill on the 17-player roster. Taylor was signed to the practice squad on September 17 and Crossen on October 16.
They held tryouts for four players Tuesday, three defensive linemen and a linebacker.
One of the spots was reportedly filled by defensive lineman Anthony Goodlow, who was one of three defensive linemen to participate in the tryout.
The Cardinals were without nose tackle Roy Lopez (ankle) in Sunday’s game against Miami, while Naquan Jones suffered a hamstring injury during the game. His status will be updated Wednesday during the first day of practice in preparation for Sunday’s game against the Bears.
