Typical Dallas Cowboys. The head coach is the subject of rumors about another team, and Micah Parsons blasted a division rival. With a Week 11 Dallas Cowboys game scheduled against the Houston Texans, it’s an in-state rivalry. Before the Cowboys-Texans game, we will make our predictions for the Cowboys Week 11 matchup on Monday Night Football.

Dallas enters with a 3-6 record, having lost four straight games. They are 0-4 at home with losses to New Orleans (44-19), Baltimore (28-25), Detroit (47-9) and Philadelphia (34-6). Unfortunately for the Cowboys, it appears the Texans are at home in Jerry’s World.

Meanwhile, the Texans are 6-4 but have been on a skid lately. They have lost three of their last four games by margins of 2, 8 and 3 points.

Cowboys QB Cooper Rush will hand over snaps to Trey Lance

Just because Rush is the man behind center as a starter doesn’t mean he’ll play the entire game. If the Cowboys fall behind, Mike McCarthy might be inclined to see if Lance can provide a spark.

No matter who plays, star wide receiver CeeDee Lamd said things are going to happen. improve on offenseaccording to dallascowboys.com.

“The job is going to get done,” the All-Pro receiver said. “And, with me, I take full responsibility for getting in sync with (Rush). We’re going to hold on for the rest of the season, so he’s the one I have the most confidence in. I don’t care what happened last week, and last week is last week. That being said, we have a game to win.

Rush moved into the starting role due to Dak Prescott’s season-ending hamstring injury.

“It kind of reminds me of my rookie year,” Lamb said. “It’s kind of the same situation – a season-ending injury – which is very unfortunate. I hate it for him. He just had surgery and we are praying for his speedy recovery. We all think of him. But for us, we have to go out there and compete for him like he’s there – as far as competitiveness, leadership and everything he expects. We must step up our efforts.

“Obviously, being a receiver here, it’s very difficult (to lose Prescott). But coming here and knowing that I still have to show my abilities, prove myself to my guys and encourage everyone that’s in the locker room, and continue to fight within every individual that’s out there. (It’s about) making that effort.

In his limited duty, Rush threw for 212 yards, completing just 35 of 62 passes for 57 percent. He has a touchdown and an interception. Lance played a cleanup role against the Eagles, completing 4 of 6 passes for 21 yards with one interception.

Josina Anderson said the Cowboys were consider a longer look for Lance, according to an article on X by Josina Anderson.

“A league source responded to me by saying this… ‘In my opinion, I understand why we’re looking to Cooper Rush as our backup because he’s been here the longest,'” Anderson said. “I feel like we need to evaluate Trey Lance more. And we need to see if he can be one of those quarterbacks who can thrive in a different environment. Just like Geno Smith, Baker Mayfield and Sam Darnold.

Lance is a former No. 3 overall pick. His last departure took place in November 2022.

CeeDee Lamb will reach over 80 yards and score

These numbers may not seem bold to Lamb. But in his last two games, he had 14 catches for 68 yards and no scores. Lamb will have the squeaky wheel plan going for him in this match. Look for the Cowboys to force the ball on him if they have to do it that way.

It might also help Lamb that the Cowboys are trying to use Rico Dowdle as a featured returnMcCarthy said, according to dallascowboys.com.

“You have to give him the ball,” McCarthy said. “That’s my goal, to continue to give him opportunities. He is the one leading the return.

This will force the Texans to play a little more honestly against the run, and they may not be able to cover Lamb in coverage. Texans head coach DeMeco Ryans certainly recognizes the you have to be careful to Lamb, according to Sports Illustrated.

“CeeDee, man, so explosive,” Ryans said. “Starting with him alone in the slot, his ability to run after the catch. He is an exceptional player. He can line up anywhere on the field. They move it around a lot. The coaching staff does a really good job putting him in a lot of different spots. (That means) you have to have big eyes to know where he is at all times, because he’s their best playmaker. And he’s proven that even when eyes are on him, he can still play. So it’s a big task for us to stop CeeDee. But it will take everyone. It won’t be just one person stopping him. This will put everyone on defense.

Micah Parsons will receive two bags

The guy is hungry. He’s trying to make up for lost time and had two sacks against the Eagles last week. He will repeat the feat this week. Ryans said Parsons was a problem for any offense, according to kxan.com

“Against the Dallas defense, Micah is an exceptional player,” Ryans said. “He plays with a relentless motor, (and) he moves everywhere. He aligns himself on the edge, in the gap A, he is everywhere. And he is everywhere on the field. He’s an impact player for them, so we have to be very aware of where he is at all times and try to do a great job of stopping him.
