THE Tampa Bay Buccaneers were inactive during their Bye Week, but that didn’t mean they were safe from taking a loss off the field. Every week, various outlets drop their power rankings during the NFL season, and one even dropped them in the rankings.
USA Today ranked the Bucs 17th in their rankings in Week 10, but they dropped to 19th after Week 11. They argued: “They (Bucs) took the day off with a four-game slide. They will come out of it facing the easiest remaining schedule in the NFC.
The rest of the NFC South was ranked, with the Falcons coming in at 14, the Saints at 24 and the Panthers rounding out the rankings at 26.
The advantage of the NFC South being everywhere is that this division is always winnable for the Bucs. The two losses to the Falcons will hurt, but the easy schedule mentioned above will improve their chances.
