    Auburn NFL Roundup: Daniel Carlson continues to connect for Raiders

    Las Vegas Raiders Daniel Carlson continued to connect for the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday. In the Raiders’ 29-19 loss to the Denver Broncos, Carlson made all five of his kicks – an extra point and field goals of 34, 34, 53 and 22 yards.

    Carlson has made 17 straight field goal attempts since missing the left sideline on a 57-yard field goal in a 36-22 loss to the Carolina Panthers on Sept. 22.

    Carlson’s 53-yard field goal Sunday was the third field goal of 50 yards or more he’s made during the streak. He’s 6 of 7 in that range this season.

    Overall, Carlson had made 22 of 24 field goal attempts in 2024. His other miss came on a 49-yard attempt in a 22-10 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers to open the season. Carlson also made all 16 of his extra shots.

    Making 191 of his 216 field goal attempts during his career, the former All-Pro has a connect rate of 88.4 percent, making him the fourth most accurate kicker in NFL history. NFL.

    Carlson was among 19 former Auburn players who took the field on the 12th Sunday of the NFL’s 105th season.

    Three other former Auburn players were involved in the Denver-Las Vegas game:

    • Bo Nix (Pinson Valley) started at quarterback for the Broncos. Nix completed 25 of 42 passes for 273 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions and ran once for 5 yards. Nix connected with receiver Courtland Sutton on touchdown passes for 18 yards with 10:49 left in the third quarter as Denver took a 16-13 lead and 2 yards with 5:30 left as the Broncos went up 26-16.

    • Raiders tight end John Samuel Shenker is on the practice squad and is not eligible to play.
    • Broncos quarterback Jarrett Stidham dressed for the game but did not play.

    In other Sunday matches:

    Kansas City Chiefs 30, Carolina Panthers 27

    • Derrick Brown is on injured reserve and is not eligible to play.

    Minnesota Vikings 30, Chicago Bears 27 (OT)

    • Byron Cowart started at defensive tackle for the Bears. Cowart made two tackles, recorded a tackle for loss and recorded a quarterback hit.

    Houston Texans 32, Tennessee Titans 27

    • Titans defensive tackle Marlon Davidson (Greenville) is on injured reserve and is not eligible to play.
    • Titans cornerback Roger McCreary (Williamson) made six tackles and recorded two tackles for loss.
    • Texans offensive tackle Kilian Zierer is on the practice squad and is not eligible to play.

    Detroit Lions 24, Indianapolis Colts 6

    • Carlton Davis started at cornerback for the Lions. Davis made a tackle.
    • Colts cornerback Jaylin Simpson is on the practice squad and is not eligible to play.
    • Braden Smith started at right offensive tackle for the Colts.

    Miami Dolphins 34, New England Patriots 15

    • Patriots defensive tackle Marcus Harris (Park Crossing) is on the practice squad and is not eligible to play.
    • Jonathan Jones started at cornerback for the Patriots. Jones had six tackles.
    • Dolphins wide receiver Anthony Schwartz is on injured reserve and is not eligible to play.

    Tampa Bay Buccaneers 30, New York Giants 7

    • KJ Britt (Oxford) started at linebacker for the Buccaneers. Britt had five tackles.
    • Jamel Dean started at cornerback for the Buccaneers. Dean returned from a four-game stint on injured reserve due to a hamstring issue with two tackles and a forced fumble, which was recovered by New York.
    • Darius Slayton started at wide receiver for the Giants. Slayton was targeted twice but did not receive a reception after missing New York’s previous game with a concussion.
    • Buccaneers running back DJ Williams is on the practice squad and is not eligible to play.

    Dallas Cowboys 34, Washington Commanders 26

    • Noah Igbinoghene (Hewitt-Trussville) started at cornerback for the Commanders. Igbinoghene made four tackles.
    • Cowboys defensive end Carl Lawson recorded no statistics.
    • Cowboys wide receiver Seth Williams (Paul Bryant) is on the practice squad and is not eligible to play.

    Green Bay Packers 38, San Francisco 49ers 10

    • Packers quarterback Malik Willis did not record any statistics.
    • Colby Wooden started as a defensive end for the Packers. In the first start of his NFL career, Wooden made two tackles and recorded one tackle for loss.

    Seattle Seahawks 16, Arizona Cardinals 6

    • Cardinals defensive tackle Angelo Blackson is on the practice squad and is not eligible to play.
    • Derick Hall started at strongside linebacker for the Seahawks. Hall made a tackle.
    • Cardinals linebacker Owen Pappoe made a tackle.
    • Seahawks cornerback Nehemiah Pritchett (Jackson) was designated inactive on game day.

    Philadelphia Eagles 37, Los Angeles Rams 20

    • Eagles offensive lineman Jack Driscoll did not record any statistics.
    • Eagles tight end CJ Uzomah did not record any statistics. Philadelphia elevated Uzomah from its practice squad to make him eligible to play.

    Week 12 began Thursday night, when the Cleveland Browns beat the Pittsburgh Steelers 24-19 in a snowstorm.

    Week 12 concludes Monday, when the Baltimore Ravens and Los Angeles Chargers face off at 7:15 p.m. CDT at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. ABC and ESPN will broadcast the game.
