GREEN BAY – The Minnesota Vikings signed linebacker Jamin Davis to their active roster of 53 players outside the Green Bay Packers practice squad, the Vikings announced Tuesday.
Davis joined the Packers‘ training team on October 29 after being released by Washington’s commanders.
Per NFL rule, the Vikings must keep Davis on the 53-man roster for at least three weeks.
Davis was drafted by the Commanders as the 19th overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft out of the University of Kentucky.
He played in 50 games with 36 starts for the Commanders from 2021-24, recording 281 total tackles (173 solo), 21 tackles for loss, seven sacks, 10 quarterback hits, one interception, six passes defended , two forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries and a tackle on special teams.
