The team announced that the former Jets general manager and a group would help Gang Green search for:

Tannenbaum helped found The 33rd team in 2019, which is a football media, analysis and advice. Meanwhile, Spielman is a former general manager of the Miami Dolphins and Minnesota Vikings. They will help Jets owner Woody Johnson bring in new signings after the 2024 season.
The Jets fired Robert Saleh earlier this year after a 2-3 start to the season. General manager Joe Douglas then left New York last week after being fired by the team.
The Jets (3-8) will likely miss the playoffs for a 14th straight season. New York just completed its bye week and will host the Seattle Seahawks in Week 13.
