Trey McBride surpassed his personal high for yards in a season on Sunday – he reached 851 for the season – and with 80 catches, he is one point shy of his own franchise record for tight ends with four games remaining.
He’s having a huge season. Now, can he reach his first Pro Bowl? With the second wave of votes announced Monday, McBride remains fourth overall in the NFL among tight ends in voting and second in the NFC. He follows the Raiders’ Bowers, followed by the 49ers’ George Kittle (the top vote-getter in the NFC), then the Chiefs’ Travis Kelce.
Strong safety Budda Baker, after posting a career-high 18 tackles, fell to second in the NFC and third overall behind second-place Brian Branch of the Lions. Kyle Hamilton of the AFC Ravens leads all other votes.
Return man DeeJay Dallas is third overall and third in the NFC, behind the Cowboys’ KaVontae Turpin and the Panthers’ Raheem Blackshear.
Voting for the Pro Bowl runs through December 23. To vote, simply visit here.
