Sam Hubbard, Nick Chubb and Josh Allen were among the other players injured in Sunday’s games. Those injured in Thursday and Sunday’s games will be evaluated this week to determine the extent of their problems.
Mahomes injured his right ankle in the fourth quarter of the Kansas City Chiefs’ 21-7 win over the Cleveland Browns on Sunday in Cleveland.
Chiefs coach Andy Reid said the ankle was not broken and called Mahomes “day to day.” He said Mahomes wanted to return to the game, but the Chiefs held him back. Mahomes said he would “try to prepare for next week.”
Sources told NFL Network that the Chiefs are concerned that Mahomes may have suffered a sprained ankle.
Mahomes completed 19 of 38 passes for 159 yards and two scores before his release. Backup quarterback Carson Wentz completed 2 of 2 passes for 20 yards in relief of Mahomes.

Watt told reporters he rolled his ankle and X-rays came back negative for fractures. Steelers coach Mike Tomlin called it a “low ankle” injury.
Watt has 11.5 sacks in 14 starts this season. He leads the NFL with 18 tackles for loss and six forced fumbles. Steelers backup quarterback Justin Fields (abdomen) and cornerback Donte Jackson (back) were also injured.

Dolphins receiver Grant DuBose suffered a head injury in the third quarter. That injury led to a lengthy stoppage of play as medical staff placed DuBose on a stretcher and took him to a Houston hospital.
The Dolphins said Monday that DuBose remained in the hospital for evaluation overnight, but tests came back positive and he had movement in all extremities. He remains under the supervision of doctors.
Texans defensive tackle Foley Fatukasi (ankle) also left the game early.
The Dolphins (6-8) will host the San Francisco 49ers (6-8) on Sunday in Miami Gardens, Florida.
