The fears and doubts that surround Pittsburgh SteelersThe biggest problem, the wide reception room, could soon be solved! Black and Gold fans finally got their wish: former Steelers WR Diontae Johnson was waived by the Baltimore Ravens.

Drama and loose balls aside, Johnson is one of the most accomplished route runners in the NFL. With that in mind, a reunion with the Pittsburgh Steelers could soon be on the horizon. The Ravens certainly believed him, as it appeared the team was content to allow Johnson to remain on the roster for an extra week in order to potentially prevent Steel City from acquiring his talents in time for their Week 16 showdown of the AFC North.

The Pittsburgh Steelers offense, with a healthy George Pickens, would be nearly unstoppable with Johnson back as the team’s WR2. After a chaotic, excitement-filled day for Steelers fans, here are some of the best reactions to Diontae Johnson’s release from the Baltimore Ravens.

I don’t think this will happen, but it’s hard to argue with this:

The Steelers would be a better team with Diontae Johnson.

And considering the injuries and the fact that you’ll be playing football in January, how could you not think about it?
