Drew Lock will be at the quarterback position this week for the New York Giants when the Indianapolis Colts come to town during week 17.

Lock started last Sunday against Atlanta, however, there was some uncertainty over his status this week after undergoing an MRI on his throwing shoulder on Monday. But according to the Giants team websitethe MRI revealed “no damage.”

Since the Giants were benched and eventually moved on from Daniel Jones, there has been quite a bit of instability at the quarterback position, which included a three-week stretch in November where a different quarterback started every match.

However, with Lock at center this week, it will be the fourth time in five games that he gets the start. His only missed start came two weeks ago against Baltimore when he was out with a heel injury.

During the season, Lock played in five games and made three starts. He completed 53% of his throws for just 4.8 yards per attempt with one touchdown and four interceptions.

The Giants offense will enter Sunday’s game against the Colts averaging just 14.3 points per game this season, the lowest mark in the NFL.
