The Baltimore Ravens had just a few minutes left in the regular season, and defensive tackle Michael Pierce made the most of it.
Pierce pulled off an exceptional move against the Cleveland Browns at home on Sunday by cutting back in coverage and picking off quarterback Bailey Zappe.
Pierce, a big man weighing 355 pounds, then gained a few yards, knelt down and celebrated with his teammates.
It was the first interception of Pierce’s career, as playing as a nose tackle on Baltimore’s defensive line doesn’t provide many prime opportunities.
This is exactly how you want to end the regular season if you’re the Ravens. You get a 35-10 win over the Browns, you close out the AFC North, and one of your longest-tenured players finally records an interception.
