The Arizona Cardinals didn’t make the playoffs this season, but some of their former players did.

The NFL playoffs continue on Sunday with three games scheduled. The final game puts the Washington Commanders on the road against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Between the two teams on their rosters, reserves and practice squads, there are five former Cardinals.

    Check them out below.

Former Cardinals players on Washington Commanders

The Cardinals traded for Ertz in 2021 and he played until midway through 2023. He had a good season in 2024, catching 66 passes for 654 yards and scoring seven touchdowns.

Gonzalez was the Commanders’ kicker in the final six games of the season, making five of seven field goals. He had not kicked in a game since 2021. He was the Cardinals’ kicker from late 2018 to 2020.

Price is on Washington’s practice squad. He played for the Cardinals in 2023.

Former Tampa Bay Buccaneers Cardinals Players

Thomas played in 17 games for the Bucs this season. He initially entered the NFL in 2018 as an undrafted rookie, signing with the Cardinals, but he did not make the final roster.

Edmonds has been on injured reserve all year. It was his second season with the Bucs. He was drafted by the Cardinals in the fifth round in 2018 and played for them until 2021.
