Dez Bryant spent eight seasons with the Dallas Cowboys and still follows the team closely. That’s why any criticism he directs at the property should carry weight.
On Sunday evening, Bryant shared his feelings on social media. The former player just watched Dan Quinn earn a playoff victory in his first attempt with the Washington Commanders.

Bryant praised Quinn’s ability to turn the team around in just one season before setting his sights on Dallas. According to him, they will not be able to overcome the obstacle until victory becomes their number one priority.
Dan Quinn turned a once-struggling franchise into a playoff contender and won its first playoff game… Until Dallas focused on winning instead of politics. Cowboy fans shouldn’t expect success any time soon… I’m telling you straight…, just like I always do…

This isn’t the first time Bryant has called out Jones. It also angered him during contract negotiations with CeeDee Lamb, particularly when Jones said he had “no urgency” to make a deal.

Bryant accused Jones of not also focusing on winning at that time, saying: “winning should not be in the vocabulary.”
Jones has never been shy about praising the way he manages his team. He claimed no one could do the job better than him and has ignored the criticism for years.
While it’s hard to disagree with Bryant’s assessment, it’s even harder to imagine Jones finally listening to reason.
