Travis KelceKayla Nicole’s ex-girlfriend revealed she was against the Kansas City Chiefs in their upcoming AFC Championship Game against the Buffalo Bills.
The influencer recently appeared on the I am an everyday athlete podcast hosted by the former NFL Brandon Marshall, where she was asked about the playoff game that will determine which team advances to the Super Bowl.
Although she dated Kelce on and off for five years from 2017 to 2022, she admitted that she supported Josh Allen and invoices.
“As much as I would love to see Josh succeed, I don’t know if it’s going to happen… [It’s] something new,” she said during the episode, adding that she “misses” watching the Chiefs win.
“Kayla, you know what it’s like to watch the Chiefs and be a part of it, be a part of it… what makes Patrick Mahomes so dynamic?” Marshall then asked him.
Nicole responded that much of that was due to the environment of Arrowhead Stadium, as she called it, “the loudest stadium in the league.”

“The energy is crazy. I think Patrick is also just a seasoned veteran at this point – there’s no panic, there’s no sudden decisions,” she said. “It’s a well-thought-out attack. He studies the game like no one else, oh my god yeah that’s all he does. He’s a student of the game.”
She also praised Chiefs coach Andy Reid and the team’s offensive line made up of players who won’t give up the ball in the end zone.
“Travis Kelce — he’s a tight end who’s not going to make it,” Nicole said, giving her ex-boyfriend’s name. “They received threats. So as much as I would love to see someone else at the Super Bowl, just to see something new, it’s not going to happen.
The Chiefs won the Super Bowl and took home the Vince Lombardi Trophy for the last two consecutive years as they now attempt to secure their third straight victory.
Kelce is currently dating pop superstar Taylor Swift.
Nicole has had already spoken about his breakup with the NFL star and the criticism she faced from fans of the Grammy winner.
During an episode of WNBA player Angel Reese’s show Shameless angel podcast in October 2024, she said: “I would be lying if I said that this level of hatred and, for example, online chaos hasn’t affected me. It is. Even to this day.
“You can look at my most recent post and people will debate among themselves why I’m worthless and I’ll never be a talented person and I don’t have a career.”
When Reese asked Nicole why she thought she was targeted when she handled the breakup with “grace,” Nicole replied, “I don’t know.” I think there’s something about that level of fame that attracts crazy people, and it’s unfortunate because I’ve never done anything to warrant that kind of reaction.
