The Pittsburgh Steelers have several question marks regarding key players leaving their roster in 2025 free agency. One of the biggest decisions to make will be whether or not to draft running back Najee Harris, who has four straight seasons with 1,000 rushing yards to conclude 2024.
Steelers Insider Gerry Dulac of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette was asked during his Wednesday conversation about what Harris might demand in free agency. While the situation is constantly evolving, Dulac reluctantly predicted that Harris could demand a three-year contract worth anywhere from $25 million to $30 million.
Dulac finished answering the question with a powerful compliment for Harris, stating:
“He’s one of 14 players to start their career with four 1,000-yard seasons. What’s the price to pay for that?”
If Harris’ contract averages $10 million per year, the Pittsburgh Steelers might be wise to re-sign the cheaper option – RB Jaylen Warren – while also drafting a stud RB in the first rounds of the 2025 NFL Draft.
