THE Houston Texans I finished signing the 13 reserve points before the 2025 offseason.
THE Texans Signed offensive guard Jerome Carvin and wide receiver Kearis Jackson to future contracts, joining 11 others who previously signed earlier in the week.
The Texans previously worked Carvin, a former Chicago Bears starter. Carin also played for the New England Patriots and Kansas City Chiefs and was a versatile offensive lineman.
During the preseason, Carvin played left guard and center for the Bears. He posted a 72.0 overall Pro Football Focus Analytics grade.
Starting two years at the University of Tennessee, Carvin allowed just three sacks in five seasons in the SEC.
Jackson played collegiately at Georgia, where he won back-to-back national titles in 2021 and 2022.
He was signed by the Tennessee Titans as an undrafted free agent and made the 53-man roster as the team’s special star. He suffered an ankle injury and was subsequently placed on injured reserve.
