A brilliant NFC championship performance from Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley on Sunday led to a formidable Dallas Cowboys trolling the New York Giants for letting him go, a storyline that has been used all season .
But Giants defensive end Kayvon Thibodeaux didn’t appreciate Dez Bryant’s posts about X, leading to a bit of public beef as they went back and forth.
Barkley scored three rushing touchdowns in the Eagles’ 55-23 victory over the Washington Commanders to punch their ticket to Super Bowl Lix in New Orleans.

Bryant fired a tweet as Barkley dissed the commanders, pushing the Giants for letting the running star walk away in free agency and ultimately signing with the division rival Eagles.
“The Giants must be sick; I don’t care what anyone says,” Bryant posted with a laughing emoji.
Thibodeaux saw the tweet coming from Bryant hours after he posted it, but he didn’t waste any time on Bryant about his lack of championships in his own career.

“We got the same amount of SBs (Super Bowls),” Thibodeaux tweeted about Bryant’s initial post.
Bryant responded five minutes later and didn’t hold back his thoughts on the Giants.
“It’s a fact but I had a free career and I’m in the file [book emoji]..Soooooo…I’m good with this! “Bryant said.

“You let go of the best player in the NFL this year and son GM told him straight to his face to draft Jayden Daniels. You shouldn’t go to me, you should go to your Dumb Ass GM…”
It was just the beginning for these two as Thibodeaux added: “I’ll shoot any old head mentioning the Giants from now on.” But that led to more Bryant.
“The only player out there that’s (sic) legit is Malik Nabres…other than that, sorry to break it buddy, you guys are horrible,” Bryant said. “Cut all this political shit!..You better hope they don’t trade your ass like you’re giving blowjob buddy…I bet you’re looking for a trade or a cut.”
Thibodeaux tried to cool the tension, but Bryant continued.
Thibodeaux obliged, asking the former catcher, “Why didn’t you retire?” He also hinted that Bryant, 36, would answer Giants general manager Joe Schoen’s call if he asked him to work for a roster spot.
“I bet you show up,” Thibodeaux said.
“That’s how I know…you don’t know…” Bryant responded. “One day we’re gonna rap in person! I’m far from the spectrum! I’m here to put you on the line… I hate you misinterpreting my tweet… I’m done going back and forth… I pray for a successful career.”
An NFL fan finally asked what the two were strengthening each other with.

“Everyone thinks they can say something about a team I represent…not on my watch,” Thibodeaux responded with a laughing emoji. “Until I’m no more a giant Ima (sic) stands in Bidness (sic).”
Thibodeaux was the fifth overall pick by the Oregon Giants in the 2022 NFL Draft, and after posting 11.5 sacks and 12 tackles for loss in a breakout 2023 campaign, he regressed on the sheet of statistics with 5.5 sacks and 28 combined tackles compared to 50 the 50. year before. He also only played in 12 games in 2024.
