Another name appeared on the Texans of Houston ‘ Radar for the opening of the offensive coordinator entering the weekly road point.
According to Ian Rapoport from NFL Network, THE Texans interviewed Tampa Bay Buccaneers Thad Lewis quarter coach For their work as an attacking coordinator on Tuesday.
The head coach Demeco Ryans and the managing director Nick Caserio are both in Mobile, in Alberta, for the senior Bowl, it is therefore not clear if the interview occurred on Zoom or in person.
Lewis, a former quarter-Arrière who actually played for the Texans during his career, is the third person to interview with Houston to replace Bobby Slowik. He joined the attacking coordinator of Syracuse Jeff Nixon and the quarter-Arrière des Texans Jerrod Johnson, who interviewed for the position on Monday.
Slowik was dismissed Friday after two seasons. The regression was set up with CJ Stroud despite an 11-8 finish and a division title, thus leading to closed friction.

In seven seasons of the NFL, Lewis, 37, played for the Rams of Los Angeles, Cleveland Browns, Detroit Lions, Buffalo Bills, Texans, Philadelphia Eagles, San Francisco 49ers and Baltimore Ravens before retiring in 2017.
Former quarter of Duke, Lewis became coach of Tampa Bay recipients in 2021 and was promoted to quarter coach in 2023.
Lewis also spent two seasons at the UCLA (2018-19) as an offensive analyst under Chip Kelly before stopping the BUCS under Bruce Arians in 2020.
