New England Patriots The Quarterrière Drake Maye has already spoken to the newly hired coach Mike Trobel.
The 22 -year -old signator is currently in Orlando for Pro Bowl Games, and he spoke with Siriusxm About Vrabel taking over as head coach. According to Maye, one of Vrabel’s biggest positive points is that he was “head-coach” and knows what it looks like.
“(Truebel) contacted me, we took the phone,” said Maye, as transcribed by Andrew Callahan from Boston Herald. “He was great. Obviously, a guy who did it, played in the League,” won a super bowl; you have respect for what he did and saw what he did. I think That the most important thing is that he was coach, and he knows what it is.
The former Patriots coach, Jerod Mayo, was a recruit coach last season. There were therefore a few stumbling blocks along the way when he worked hard to improve in this role.
We hope that the patriots can benefit from a more experienced coach like Truebel, who led the Tennessee Titans to three consecutive appearances in the playoffs and an AFC championship match.
It will be exciting to see the dynamic Truebel-Maye going forward. Maye is looking to build a solid year recruited, and Truebel has the experience to help bring the talents of the young quarter to new heights.
