Already, Denver Broncos Fans wonder if Garrett could land in the city of Mile High. Who would not want the defensive player of the title year of the NFL?
But of all the teams, the broncos would be among these clubs which could make the least meaning for Garrett, relatively speaking. After all, the Broncos led the NFL in bags last year (63), establishing a franchise record.
And although Nik Bonitto and Jonathon Cooper can be several levels of the Garrett All-NFL, they combined for 24 bags in 2024, each overshadowing the two-digit brand. Garrett had 14 bags. Bonitto had 13.5, winning the honors of Pro Bowl and the second All-Pro team.
While we are still waiting to see if 2024 was a type of one -year campaign for Bonitto, these questions are juxtaposed by the power of the coherence of Garrett. Garrett has displayed two -digit bags in each of the last seven seasons.
The most expensive aspect of broncos will potentially after Garrett would be the cost. The league initiates report from front-office sources that two first round choices would be the starting point. And then some.
In the heels of a season during which the Broncos led the league in bags and refer all their rushers with the most productive passes, and in the light of the way the team was in the first round since the trade in Russell Wilson in 2022, Denver does not seem to be a logical landing point for Garrett.
It is not a light on the excellence of Garrett. He is the best IDGE defender in the NFL, but the broncos are not an elite rusher of the Super Bowl.
This team needs its resources to go out and build the nest around Bo Nix.
