THE Saint-Orleans saints are the last of the seven NFL teams to fill a vacancy of head coaches during the offseason. It seems that the long waiting of the team will soon be over, with a key figure in town this week to stay.

The saints should hire the offensive coordinator of the Eagles of Philadelphia, Kellen Moore, as the next coach, according to several reports. However, the team can only reach an official agreement after the Eagles have completed their season by competing in the Kansas City chiefs in the Super Bowl 59 in New Orleans on Sunday.

Moore, 36, will become the youngest head coach of the NFL, a previous title held by Mike Macdonald of Seattle Seahawks, 37.

A quarter backup for the Lions of Detroit (2012-14) and Dallas Cowboys (2015-17), Moore immediately pivoted his playing days in a coach career by taking the work of the quarter coach for Cowboys in 2018, serving as confidence and familiar voice for the starter Dak Prescott. He was raised to the attacking coordinator a year later and remained in the role after the hiring of Mike McCarthy in 2020. His units led the league twice under the yards and ranked in the top six to score In three of her four seasons as a coordinator, with the Lone Exception in a campaign in 2020 during which Prescott was lost after five games for a compound fracture and a dislocation of his right ankle.

However, after the release of the cowboys eliminatory series, Moore and the team separated, McCarthy taking care of the game tasks. Moore was the offensive coordinator of the Los Angeles Loads for a year before joining the Eagles. He orchestrated an attack which ranked second in the precipitation, with the ball carrier All-Pro Saquon Barkley leading the charge by accumulating 2,005 yards on the ground in the regular season.

The saints, who dismissed coach Dennis Allen in November after a 2-7 departure, made several candidates of the race abandon for their opening. The former defensive coordinator of Detroit Lions, Aaron Glenn, who was assistant in New Orleans under Sean Payton from 2016 to 20 years old, chose to take the best job of New York Jets after being planned for a second interview with the saints. Buffalo Bills’s attacking coordinator Joe Brady retired from consideration after a virtual interview with the team, and Washington commanders chose not to occupy the position. McCarthy, who separated from the cowboys after five years, also fell back, rather choosing to focus on the hiring cycle of next year.

$ 54 million on the salary ceiling in 2025, according to On the capThe saints will again be faced with an offseason of reshuffle and restructuring. The quarter-back Derek Carr, who has played in a career of 10 games due to an oblique injury and a fractured left hand, should have a ceiling reached more than $ 51 million, with a bonus of 10 million Dollars in mid-March. Liberating it would be a dead blow of $ 50 million.

Several longtime franchise pillars – including the defensive winger Cameron Jordan, the right platform Ryan Ramczyk and the Taysom Hill set – are also faced with an uncertain future.

The Eagles, on the other hand, will have their fourth offensive coordinator different in four years. Moore and Shane Steichen (2022) both won coaching-chief jobs, and the team separated from Brian Johnson (2023).
