The defensive coordinator of the Eagles of Philadelphia, Vic Fangio, put a clinic during the Super Bowl on Sunday evening, while his defense suffocated the quarter of the Chiefs of Kansas City, Patrick Mahomes, for four quarters.
Fangio is one of NFL’s older statesmen because his NFL coach career dates back to the 1980s when he was coach of the seconds for the Saint Orleans from 1986 to 1994.
His first defensive coordinator’s passage came with the Carolina Panthers from 1995 to 1998, and Peter Schrager of NFL Network shared a photo of his days in Charlotte about three decades in 1995.
In the photo, Fangio has a strange resemblance to the legendary actor John Cazale, better known for having played Fredo Corleone in the first two Godfather Movies.
See by yourself below, first with A photo of Fangio And second with some photos of Cazale.
Cazale had one of the most impressive races of all the actors of any generation, with The godfather,, The conversation,, Part II of the godfather,, Afternoon dog day And The deer hunter Successively of each other in the 1970s. His premature death in 1978 in lung cancer reduced an incredibly short career.
The five Cazale films were nominated for the best film, cementing it as one of the most accomplished actors of all time.
When we look at this photo of Fangio from the 1990s, we feel like looking at Cazale. What a fascinating little wrinkle for Schranging to dig up to add to all the celebrations of the Eagles of the Super Bowl.
