The New England Patriots would have signed a large non-drained recipient Jacquae Jackson to a new agreement. Mike Garafolo from NFL Network reported the news on Wednesday.
The reception of Jackson’s touch of 38 yards from the quarter-Arrière Joe Milton was one of the off-competition games in the Patriots’ pre-season match in 2024 against the Panthers of Caroline. For a missing team of explosive offensive games, Jackson’s game stood out early for the Patriots.
Unfortunately, his season was interrupted due to a leg injury the following week against the Eagles of Philadelphia. The Patriots could have resolved an injury regulations, but they rather kept it on the injured reserve to have the chance to bring it back to a given time.
THE #Patriots re-signale wr jacae jackson. The non-drafted FA of Rutgers impressed in the camp and had a 38 yards in pre-season before undergoing an ankle injury. The team kept it on the IR rather than determining an injury regulation. Now back for 2025. pic.twitter.com/qbc09xcwg

The Patriots liked what they saw of Jackson last season, and they are clearly interested in seeing what he does with a second chance.
Things are wide open to the position of the wide receiver with Ja’lynn Polk and Javon Baker, both in their recruit seasons. Perhaps a healthy jackson will experience enough second year jump to carve out a role in the team next season.
