    Browns announce new hires and staff changes

    Cleveland, Ohio (Woio) – The Cleveland Browns have announced several recruits and changes to their coach staff for the 2025 season.

    The Browns added Christian Jones (tight ends), Sanders Davis (assistant offensive line), Kyle Hoke (Special Adams), Adam Morris (Assistant Defensive Line) and Ben Wilkerson (assistant offensive line) to coach staff.

    In addition, the current coaches Bill Musgrave (quarter-back), Stephen Bravo-Brown (wide assistant receptors) and Nick Charlton (specialist in passing game) will play new roles in 2025.

    Jones comes to Cleveland after three seasons with the New York giants where he was an attacking assistant in 2022, then deputy coach of the 2023-24. Before the Giants, Jones spent three seasons with the Vikings of Minnesota (2019-21), as an offensive quality control coach and its last two seasons as an assistant large receiver.

    Davis joins the Browns after spending the previous six seasons at Rice University, after joining the OWLS as a graduate assistant in 2022, Davis has spent the last four seasons as an offensive line coach. Davis will find the current coach of the Browns offensive line, Mike Bloomgren, who was Rice’s head coach during the six seasons that Davis was there.

    Hoke has spent the last 13 years training at the college level. He spent the 2024 season in Texas A&M, and before that, he spent time in San Diego State (2020-23), Indiana State (2019), Texas State (2018), John Carroll (2017), South South Caroline (2015-16), Army (2014) and Western Michigan (2012-13).

    Morris spent the 2024 season as a defensive coordinator of the line / racing game at the University of Buffalo. He helped Buffalo establish a school record with 92 plated for the loss, while Kobe Stewart led the bags. Morris also experienced university coach stays in Ball State (2023), Eastern Illinois (2021-22) and DEPAUW (2020).

    Morris is from Dublin, Ohio.

    Wilkerson joins the Browns with 10 years of NFL training experience. He was the deputy coach of the offensive line with the jets (2022-24) and before that spent time with the Giants (2018-21) and Bears (2015-17).

    Musgrave joined the staff of Browns coaches in 2023 and has spent the last two seasons as a senior offensive assistant. Musgrave will now be a quarter of the quarter.

    Bravo-Brown joined the Browns in 2020 and spent two seasons as a defensive quality controller and three seasons as a special team assistant (2022-24). Bravo-Brown will serve as an assistant coach for wide receivers for the 2025 season.

    Charlton joined Browns staff as an offensive assistant / game specialist in 2024. Before Cleveland, Charlton spent seven seasons (2015-21) as a coach in Maine in various offensive roles before being coach- Head of 2019-21. Charlton will be the browns game specialist for the coming season.
