At a time when cowboys have not won Super Bowl for 30 years, Shapiro said the Eagles were now “the American team”.
“I must tell you something. Being a fan of the Eagles, I know how people like to hate us,” Shapiro told the Eagles Super Bowl parade in Philadelphia. “They like to take root against us, but something I noticed is that all of a sudden, people gathered to encourage our eagles of Philadelphia. Not only here in Philly, but in all of America.

“It would seem, [Eagles owner] Jeffrey [Lurie]That the Philadelphia Eagles are now the American team. Do you hear that, Dallas? Eagles are the American team. “”
Fans of the Eagles, celebrating their team 40-22 Clobberg of the Kansas City Chiefs In the Super Bowl 2025, then started singing “Dallas Sucks”.
Meanwhile, Shapiro said that a beer can hit the GM Howie Roseman Eagles during the parade.
“Philly, you put a Helluva parade today, except for some of you who did not know how to launch a beer,” said Shapiro. “You pulled it too hard. Ask Howie Roseman.”
CBS News Texas did not receive a cowboys response regarding Shapiro’s comments.
