Washington commanders need another cornerback to add this off -season to the secondary.
The writer to Bleacher Report Kristopher Knox suggests that commanders should examine Sign Los Angeles Defensive Loads Asante Samuel Jr.

Samuel at DC?
“The corner half of the loaders asante Samuel Jr. carries some remarkable concerns in the 2025 off -season. The missed plates were a problem – it was credited with 12 in 2023 – And he comes from an end -of -season shoulder injury which limited him to four games in 2024, “writes Knox.
“Samuel also seemed to be an overview less than Ideal for the plan of the defensive coordinator Jesse Minting before the injury.
“However, Samuel has extremely well performed on the pass cover in the past. He allowed an opposing passer of 87.4 on the cover last season and allowed an opposing passer note below 100.0 in his Four professional seasons.
“At just 25 (26 in October), Samuel has a lot of time to settle as a leading cover corner.”
Samuel has a lot of talent and he also has links with commanders of commanders.
“Commanders should also take a look at the 25 -year -old man. Washington relied on many older veterinarians in 2024 and should now try to add younger pieces to the puzzle. Defensive coach Tom Donatell also served as loaders’ secondary coach in 2023. “
With the Marshon Lattimore and Mike Sainristil locked up for the 2025 season, commanders need one more solid room in the corner room. Samuel would help Washington fill this void, which could help the commanders return to the NFC championship.
