With Kellen Moore taking over as the Saint-Orleans saints Head coach, it is natural to start wondering which players of his previous stop can follow him.
The Wright Way network identified three free agents from Philadelphia Eagles that Moore should try to take him with him. The list attacks the positions of need, but there is a player who looks like an extremely long shot: Zack Baun.
Everyone on the side of New Orleans will readily welcome Baun, but why would he want to come back? Nor is it about holding bad feelings. Baun has just spent the best year in his career with Vic Fangio. If Baun was an attacking player, it would make sense because he would have worked directly with Moore in Philadelphia.
However, going back to New Orleans would mean leaving behind the defensive spirit which helped Baun finally find the clarity of the player’s style that he is supposed to be. Even if New Orleans brings Christian Parker, the coordinator of the Eagles game, it is not the same thing as Fangio himself.
That said, Baun can look for more money in free agency. There is no other reason why he would like to leave Philadelphia. If money is the pattern, the saints do not correspond to the mold.
Spotrac has the contractual projection of Baun Just under $ 10 million a year. Although he played at a high level this year, it was his first happy new year in the League. In addition, seconds generally do not order high contracts.
The saints have signed Chase Young to a more expensive agreement of the last season, but this year, it would be more logical to develop with cheaper players.
