The former Oregon Ducks star Kayvon Thibodeaux has just finished his third NFL season with the New York Giants, and due to injuries, it was certainly not his best.
Thibodeaux missed five games in the middle of the 2024 campaign following a wrist problem which required surgery, disturbing a fairly impressive groove that he had developed in the previous weeks.
He ended up recording 28 fairly modest plated and 5.5 bags in 12 competitions, which was a little disappointing since he had accumulated 50 plated, 11.5 bags and three escaped forced in 2023.
The 24 -year -old becomes eligible for a contract extension during the offseason, but the giants do not provide him, and Thibodeaux understands the reason.

New York has selected Oregon’s product with the fifth overall choice of NFL 2022 draft, and although Thibodeaux has certainly shown brilliant flashes, consistency is simply not there.
However, Thibodeaux absolutely wants to stay in the Big Apple for the long term and hopes to do something with the giants finally.
“Super excited man, likes giants,” he said. “Obviously, I hope that I will be able to continue to be here. The future is in hand, of course, but I am super excited. I think I put a decent film. I will not say that it is my best , I won ‘it said it’s my worst. “
Thibodeaux was a force during his stay with the Ducks, rushing 126 plated, 34 plated for the loss and 19 bags on three seasons in Eugene. He won the American honors in his last college season in 2021.
