Cincinnati – The tight end of Bengals Drew Sample fell in one of his childhood loves this weekend. He participated in the Columbus Blue Jackets alumni game in Nationwide Arena.
Sample grew up playing the game in Bellevue, Washington, and recently returned to skating.
“I grew up playing hockey before playing football, from the moment I had 4 or 5 to love 15 or 16,” said Sample Garrison de la nhl.com McDaniel. “Then football took over and ended up working for me.”
