Part 2 of Miami pre -ombine dolphins on Si Mailbag:
De Troy Ortiz:
See how the speed and finesse have not proven to beat the good teams of the League, especially when it is cold, Will Grier and McDaniel change course and will eventually build the trenches on both sides of the ball and play a type of game More physical like the race the ball more?
Hey Troy, this line of thought certainly makes sense, but I do not know exactly how fast you can move on to this style when your three biggest murders in attack – Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle and De’von – All are speed guys. The counter argument is that the dolphins went 11-6 in 2023 with this style, so it is not as if you could not have a success of success; The question is how far you can go with it. Conclusion: I would not expect a radical change in the style of play overnight.
Of Robb:
If you chose at 13 years old and don’t like the options, would you exchange for more choices. If so, what would be the furthest that you would come back on the basis of this year draft pool? At the end of the first? Start of the second?
Hey Robb, I would plead absolutely by exchanging because the dolphins must build a stock of good, young and cheap and hitting the draft choices is the way to do so. As for what distance I would exchange, I should leave these projects of analysts who did this to live full time tell me where to end each level, although I heard that there are no more dozen elite perspectives.
De Marco A. Briceño:
What guards correspond to the scheme of the fins? What are the Smash Mouth players that you would write to this position? (Know the fins will be zone…).
Hey Marco, Texas uses a zone program similar to what the Dolphins do, so that we can start right away with Kelvin Banks, who made fun of the Dolphins in a few places. Per Miami Dolphins on Si Draft Guru Dante Collinelli, Banks is the guy if you are looking for a perfect diagram. Donovan Jackson of Ohio State has athletic gifts to remove it, but other best hopes like Tyler Booker, Gray Zabel and Jonah Savaiaea have also played in more power and interior zone diets. This does not mean that they could not do it, however.
From @ ahead of 623:
Would you like to exchange Tyreek Hill for Budda Baker after June 1?
My first reaction would be to say yes. Looking at the Baker contract, it is not obvious and it would represent a very good value for money – good enough for me to be sure that it is something that the Arizona considers. I have always been a big baker fan, so I would associate myself absolutely, but again I do not think that Arizona this move without Miami having to make additional compensation.
To take God. I know everything about everything:
Milroe in the 2nd round … Yay or not?
HMM, interesting idea. I think Jalen Milroe has interesting advantages, although he is not yet there as a passer as far as I am concerned. I do not see that this happens, however, because the dolphins are in win-plus mode after the declaration of Stephen Ross after the 2024 season and it would be a decision for the future.
De Dion Gardiner:
Do you think that Austin Jackson could play a guard next year? I thought that maybe an end could start Paul to RT and move Jackson to RG, which would mean that they only have to find 1 other guard.
Hey Dion, I addressed this subject even in a story published earlier Sunday, And I will encourage you, you and everyone, to verify it, but the digest version of my reader is that it is a very intriguing idea, but there are many reasons to move away from it.
By Kristopher Kingan:
Everyone talks about an offensive line for the choice of Round 1, and rightly, but would it not be the right choice? This would bring an additional blocker, and McDaniel can perform 2 Tes that can block and catch.
Hey Kristopher, I wrote a Complete story explaining my position on the idea of adding Warren to the offense And I will summarize it very briefly while encouraging you to discover the story: the Dolphins must win now and have too many other needs to spend it in a position where they already have a good starter – unless Warren becomes of Far the best prospect available at 13, what I find hard to believe will be the case.
Of Andy Bunting:
Simple Alain … why does Gray not give a press conference to the combine harvester. It seems strange that almost all the other GMs make one. Is this a case of CG that lacks respect for the base of the fans or a case of nothing to say, so no time to waste the time of everyone?
Hey Andy, on the basis of the calendar which was distributed and published on social networks, there are five GMs which are not planned to hold press conferences, and it is Grier, Mickey Loomis of Saints, the Snead of Rams, Polish Ryan of the Bears, and Jerry Jones, who is the de facto GM of cowboys and someone who speaks a little to the media. Understand that there is no championship requirement for GMS to have a press conference at the combination and Grier has always had a media session with Dolphins writers in Indianapolis.
