Indianapolis – it seems that the Eagles are behind the proverbial 8-ball when they arrived at the NFL screening combination this week, barely two weeks after their victory at the Super Bowl Chiefs of Kansas City.
This is not the case, said the director general of Eagles, Howie Roseman, who barely had time to heal the beer launched which struck him during the Eagles parade on February 14.
It led Roseman to exclaim in her brief speech that day: “I bleed for this city!”
“I’m a little less beautiful”

“I’m fine,” said Roseman on Tuesday in a session with Eagles journalists who traveled for the combine harvester. “Yeah, it was not great on Friday evening (parade), but I crossed it on Friday during the day.”
However, the Eagles have a lot of work to do with the combine harvester. This includes meeting with potential editors, the portion of medical records and test results. But that also means to face the current list, including the agents of several potential free agents of the Eagles, including those of the second Zack Baun, the players of defensive line Milton Williams and Josh Sweat, and the right goalkeeper Mekhi Becton, among others.
And of course, meet players from players from other teams for whom they could wish to sign or exchange. Myles Garrett, someone?
Here is our Eagles tracker during the combine harvester. Follow the latest news, rumors and buzz involving Eagles and the league as a whole:
A new addition to the “Georgia Eagles”?
There is a good chance that the second Georgia Sleeve Walker was taken long before the choice of Eagles in the first round in n ° 32 in total – not that the Eagles would choose a second round, which they have not done since 1979.
However, Walker said he would like to have the chance to find a lot of his Bulldogs colleagues on the Eagles, who all play in defense. They are defensive line players Jalen Carter, Jordan Davis and Nolan Smith, the second Nakobe Dean and the defenders Kelee Ringo and Lewis Cine.
“I had the opportunity to go to the Super Bowl and encourage these guys,” said Walker. “I speak to them very often. And I have the impression that all the guys in Georgia remain so well together that when we see each other, there is no long distance.
“All their success is not surprising for me, just because I know the way these guys are wired, the way they work and the talent they were blessed.”
CANYON MITCHELL could find his teammate in Toledo?
The Eagles have written the corner half of Toledo so well, Quinky Mitchell, in the first round last year, that they might try it with the Rusher Edge Darius Alexander.
Alexander, for his part, would like this chance. Mitchell too.
“Me and he talked about it many times,” said Alexander. “It would certainly be delighted to play with him, that’s for sure.”
A new contract for Nick Sirianni?
It is difficult to understand the coach of the Eagles Nick Sirianni in the last year of his contract this season without extension. It is somewhat remarkable since a year ago, Sirianni was almost dismissed. Win a great bowl changes things.
Sirianni can expect a heavy increase in the $ 7 million agreement a year which he signed when he was hired in 2021. Not to mention the security of not having to worry about his future after driving the Eagles to two Super Bowls in three seasons.
“These things will take care of themselves,” said Sirianni during the session with Eagles journalists in Indianapolis. “I’m not concerned about this. My biggest job right now is to bring the right guys around us, with the coaches that we hire … who takes so long.”
Eagles in search of the QB coach
The Eagles replaced the attacking coordinator who left Kellen Moore, who left to become the Holy Head coach, with Kevin Patullo last week. But QB coach Doug Nussmeier left to become Moore’s attacking coordinator, leaving the Eagles to find a new QB coach for Jalen Hurts.
The new QB coach would be the fourth in five seasons. Sirianni said he conducts interviews, but wouldn’t say who are candidates. But he listed certain qualities he is looking for.
“I am still looking for a good person,” said Sirianni during the journalist’s session. “Because again, I think we have just seen that there were a lot, many different reasons why we were able to win. But a lot of work was teamwork, connection, altruism.
“But also, can (a position coach) bring new thoughts, new diagrams, new ideas to the table to help the development of your offense and to continue reflection above all by evolving your offense?”
We will see.
