Green Bay, Wisconsin (Wbay) – We are now less than two months before the start of the NFL draft.
The league now pays its individual attention to Titletown with new details that should be announced next week.
This first overall choice in the draft is now within 58 days, and Aaron Popkey with the Green Bay packers says that the preparations for the event will continue to progress.
Starting with another visit to the NFL site next week.
“We plan that the NFL will publish more information on the campus itself in terms of doors and parking and these types of things, so all this information is being finalized,” said Aaron Popkey, Director of Business Public of Green Bay Packers.
About 200 people from the NFL will be in Green Bay next week, organizing meetings and putting part of the final keys on on -site planning, all before the start of construction at the end of March.
Popkey says that this is one of the many visits made by the NFL, going up before the packers receive the offer for the project.
“It will be their last mass planning session in person to bring together all these details and help us all understand the last songs of the vision that meet,” said Popkey.
The NFL should also announce the end details for parking and road closings during the project next week.
Mayor Genrich says that Oneida and Lombardi will close when the project stadium begins the construction, but most of the other closures will not take place before most of the draft.
“There will certainly be disadvantages for people who try to go to Green Bay d’Ashwaubenon and vice versa in Oneida Street, but other than that, it will be something that people will be able to sail fairly easily, Mayor Genrich said.
The public will be likely to see these updates on the logistics project both during the meeting of the common council of Green Bay on Tuesday March 4 and at an information meeting for the village of Ashwaubenon on 6 March.
Packers and NFL also encourage people to download the NFL One Pass application to see the latest updates when published.
