New England Patriots desperately need a N ° 1 receiver in the upcoming phases of their current reconstruction.

The staples are already in place with the head coach Mike Truebel and the quarter Drake Maye. While research continues for this passing sensor that changes the situation, Saturday saw a blockbuster from the NFL which could serve as a double negative culprit for the patriots.

Washington commanders withdrew a major player from the market when they exchanged for San Francisco 49ers Wideout Deebo Samuel, PER IAN RAPOPORT DE NFL MEDIA. The NFC East surprise team which took place in the NFC championship match now wins another target of impact for the young quarter-Arrière Jayden Daniels. Mark Daniels de Masslive Saturday report on x that the patriots did not flow to Samuel.

This is not the end of the 49ers of this discussion.

San Francisco also entered rumors with Brandon Aiyuk, the impact receiver who underwent a knee injury at the end of the season a few months after a new four -year agreement with the 49ers. The Patriots would have made sense if the 49ers wanted to move a receiver, but it is difficult to see them do this after having already moved with Samuel and not seem to go towards a major reconstruction on the offensive side of football.

    History continues below advertising

With Samuel out of the board of directors and Aiyuk less likely to leave San Francisco, the Patriots will probably have to look elsewhere for a trading partner, although they can very well keep their sites in the NFC West.
