The search for New York Jets for a new quarter-back could end with them deciding that their best option is just under their nose.
The new head coach Aaron Glenn chose to separate from Aaron Rodgers after two seasons with the jets, deciding that a new start was the best for all the people concerned.
And after weighing the quarter market, Glenn and those around him in the upper levels of the organization of the jets are apparently happy to start the season with the no 2 QB of last year, Tyrod Taylor.
Sportskeeda reported that Taylor was on the driving seat as it is and that the jets could take a quarter of the 2nd day of the NFL draft later this year.
It would be a surprising decision by Glenn. There are free agency options, such as Sam Darnold and Justin Fields – the former Pittsburgh Steelers and Chicago Bears appeller was linked to jets before during the offseason.
Taylor, 35, has a record of 28-28-1 as a starter and launched for 68 affected and 29 interceptions in his career.

He played for a multitude of teams during his 14 -year career in the NFL.
Taylor was drafted by the Baltimore ravens in the sixth round of the 2011 draft and also appeared for the Bills, Browns, Chargers, Texans and New York.
The jets have the seventh choice of this year’s draft when Glenn oversees a reconstruction during the offseason which was led by the departure of Rodgers.
Davante Adams should follow Rodgers through the release door in New York, but Garrett Wilson should now stay in place.
Rodgers has since been linked to a sensational decision to the Giants, who would see him stay in New York.
It would have been held at the Los Angeles Rams, but any potential to play there is now over with Friday news that Matthew Stafford stays in California.
In addition to the giants, there are vacant posts in the quarter-back with the Titans of Tennessee, the Browns of Cleveland and the Steelers.
