THE Saint-Orleans saints Released the ball carrier Jamaal Williams on Tuesday, According to Tom Pelissero from NFL Network. Williams is well known by Lions Fans and were very popular during his time, although short, in Detroit.
Williams played two seasons with the Lions (2021-2022). His second season was his season in small groups as a pro, rushing for 1,066 yards and 17 touched at the top of the league. He would sign with the saints in free agency during the next off -season.
In total, Williams had 1,667 yards on the ground and 20 affected in 30 games. For his career, Williams has 4,122 yards on the ground and 32 affected on the ground.
Williams, who was 30 years old on April 3, entered the League as a fourth round of Green Bay Packers in 2017 and passed his first four seasons there before adding Detroit and New Orleans to his NFL Curriculum Vitae.
