The offseason of the NFL is in full swing while the combination of NFL scouts came and disappeared with the new year of the league which should start in just under a week and a free agency on the horizon after the draft of the NFL in April.
The League teams are starting to determine how they want to attack each of these areas, some have already laid the franchise tag to retain players to try to develop contract extensions. With a free agency just at the corner of the street, the locking corner of the former Buccaneers of Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Carlton Davis III, could be in motion once again because he is a free agent without restriction of this offseason.
The BUCS drafted Davis d’Auburn in the second round of the 2018 NFL draft and he spent the first six years of his career in Tampa Bay before being exchanged at the Lions of Detroit during the last year of his contract for a third -round choice while the Lions sought to solidify their defense to make a deep eliminatory series race.

The relationship of Davis and the Lions did not quite go, because the two parties hoped for it when he was fighting against injuries, missing a great time towards the end of the season when the team needed him most. Now, Davis III, should become a free agent and another familiar face seems to be in the corner of man to man, the Jacksonville jaguars.
“The Vikings hope to re-sign the Byron Murphy Jr. corner, one of the corners of the third online contract for strong offers. And the Jaguars will assess the veteran Carlton Davis III market, another guy from the third contract” “” Jeremy Fowler d’Espn wrote.
The jags could indeed use an outside corner after writing Jarrian Jones outside Florida State to fill the place in nickel in the draft of the NFL last year. Jacksonville’s offensive was not their problem, no longer being able to stop opposing offenses. Davis III is now a veteran of the league and knows how to use his body and capacities against high -level wide receivers. However, Davis has undergone a history of injuries and this could be harmful to a team such as Jacksonville unless they meet their needs in depth.
