THE Chicago Bears Already make movements to strengthen their list, including a pair of professions for offensive line players Joe Thuney and Jonah Jackson. With a free agency within a week, there are more positions to target in Chicago, including skills position players.
According to Jeremy Fowler d’EspnThe Bears are targeting the tight wing with the lady agent Durham Smythe, who was released by the Miami Dolphins last month. Smythe has spent the last seven years with the Dolphins, where he has played under the head coach of the new Bears, Ben Johnson, who was the coach of the Receivers of Miami, in 2018.
Last season, Smythe appeared in 17 games, with four departures, and only totaled nine catches for 53 yards. His best season occurred in 2023, where he caught 35 receptions for 366 yards in 16 games with 14 departures.
The Bears already have their end of departure in Cole Kmet, who comes out of a year of decline but turned out to be a hard -hitting player in the game of passes. But they had a hard time finding a real complement for him, including more recently Gerald Everett, who was released last month.
