One day after separation from a secondary coach, the Denver Broncos hire another former secondary as a coach.
THE Broncos hire Todd Davis as a defensive quality control coach, Zac Stevens of DNVR Sports reported for the first time on Thursday. Davis, who has worked for DNVR as a commentator since 2023, was one of the Denver coaching trainees at the training camp last summer.
Davis, 32, now leaves DNVR for a full -time DQC position on Sean Payton staff, working under the defensive coordinator Vance Joseph. Davis has spent time playing under Payton with the Saint-Orleans saints In 2014 before landing later with broncos.
Davis spent six years in Denver, totaling 467 plated, 13 shortfall breaks, 11 strokes of a quarter, two bags, two escaped recovery, a forced escape and an interception returned 20 yards for a touch. He was a special team player and a rotation secondary when the team won the Super Bowl 50 after the 2015 season.
Davis has spent time with the Vikings du Minnesota (2020) and New York Giants (2021) at the end of his career before hanging up on his crampons. He now returns to the Broncos, this time as a coach.
