Mike Gesicki returns to the Bengals of Cincinnati after accepting a three -year contract worth 25.5 million dollars on Saturday, a person familiar with contractual negotiations at the Associated Press negotiations.
The person spoke at the AD on condition of anonymity because the agreement had not been finalized. The new league year begins on Wednesday.
Gesicki had a successful first season in Cincinnati. He finished third on the team during receptions with 65 for 665 yards and two affected.
Gesicki will participate in his eighth season in 2025. It was a selection of second round of Miami during the 2018 draft and spent five seasons with the Dolphins before going to New England in 2023 then Cincinnati.
Bengals still have to obtain extensions with the two best play leaders in the quarter Joe Burrow. Ja’Marr Chase is online to become the most paid non-qualified in the NFL after having led the League in receptions (127), Yards receiving (1,708) and Touché (17) in 2024.
Tee Higgins will be under the franchise tag for a second consecutive year. He has had at least 73 captures in three of the last four seasons as well as 10 career affected last season.
