The former colt secondary, Grant Stuard, a solid player of special teams, sign with the Lions.
Stuard announced on Instagram that he went to Detroit.
Stuard, 26, was a choice of seventh round in 2021 of the Buccaneers and played mainly in special teams as a recruit. He was exchanged for the colts in 2022 and also played mainly special teams in Indianapolis, and he was chosen as captain of special teams. But Stuard can also contribute to La Défense, and last season, he also started five games for the colts.
After their defense suffered a season in the grip of injuries last year, the Lions want more depth in defense, and they have it in Stuard, while strengthening their special teams with a player who should be an important contributor at a fairly low cost.
