What Ben Johnson’s funny reputation does for bears in free agency

Lake Forest – One of the key aspects of Chicago Bears Signing a coach like Ben Johnson is the draw for players.

It is a reputation molded in Detroit but the hope now in Chicago Can this be solidified here. The Bears hope that its success can be magnetic, attracting free agents who could be torn between a few teams.

Jackson thought that Johnson knew about Detroit how to use his attacking lines at the best of their capacities.

“I feel like my best years were with Ben,” said Jackson. “He calls the game to our strengths and our things in which we are good. And it is not only for a guy, especially.

“I felt like I could prosper in this system (Strait), and I am delighted to come back in it and come back to what I could do and keep it while rolling.”

Joe Thuney came from a very score team with an explosive offense with Patrick Mahomes and Andy Reid, after being in New England with Tom Brady. With the chefs, he had the opportunity to face the Lions.

“Looking at the Detroit offensive just over the years, every week, it’s like 30 to 40 points with very large creative pieces and an offense you want to be a part,” Thuney said. “He has such a clear and communicative way to describe what he wants.

“You can feel the passion and the love he has for the game and it’s contagious. I think people, everyone around him feels it, and it’s just a coach you want to play.”

Even defensive guys sit and take note.

“I was talking to Coach earlier and I told him, like some of these pieces you play, I don’t even know how you think. Do you know what I say?” The defensive plates Grady Jarrett said. “And so it’s cool and playing this line that they had up there, they are definitely physical and I respect these guys a lot.

“We played them in 2023, I think, then also in 2020. But I know what it was, especially in the past two years, they behaved very well and to have coach Johnson from there, I mean, as you (the media) can see it, you talked to him, he is just in force.”
