Six years after leaving the Baltimore Ravens, the Super Bowl winner winner, Joe Flacco, continues to find a job for himself in the NFL, and his next one could be on the horizon.
According to the field of Espn YatesThe New York Giants welcomed the 40-year-old quarter-Arrière for a visit on Thursday. The giants only have only a quarter of a quarter under contract at Tommy Devito, and even with the overall choice n ° 3 in the draft of the NFL, the addition of veteran aid is a must for them.
Flacco, the overall choice n ° 18 in 2008, spent the first 11 years of his career in Baltimore and was very successful. In 163 departures, he completed 61.7% of his passes for 38,245 yards, 212 affected and 136 interceptions. He also had one of the biggest playoffs in 2012, launching 11 affected and no interception to lead the Ravens to victory in the Super Bowl XLVII.
In 2018, Flacco underwent a hip injury in the middle of the season, allowing Lamar Jackson’s Rookie to take its place. Once Jackson started to play well, the writing was on the Flacco Wall, and the Ravens exchanged it at the Denver Broncos during the next off -season.
Since then, Flacco has rebounded around the league with several different teams. He played for broncos, the New York jets twice and the Eagles of Philadelphia, but it was only when he signed with the Browns of Cleveland in 2023 that he really caught up. The veteran miraculously returned the stopwatch, launching 13 affected in five games to help the browns make the playoffs and win the return player.
This season with the colts was not as special, however. He was part of a rotating door in the quarter-arre alongside Anthony Richardson, and went only 2-4 as a starter. However, there seems to be a market for its services at 40.
The Giants should also accommodate the Vétéran Russell Wilson quarterrier, who spent last season with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
