THE New England Patriots Old sign New York Jets Offensive line player Wes Schweitzer for a year’s agreement, according to Tom Pelissero from the NFL Network.
Schweitzer began his career with the Falcons of Atlanta in 2016. He was drafted by the organization in the sixth round and played for the team until 2019. He also spent time to the commanders of Washington before signing with the jets in 2023.
Schweitzer is a versatile offensive line player with a gaming experience in both the custody and the center. This means that it could be in the mixture to compete for representatives in the center after the patriots Released the longtime captain David Andrews THURSDAY.
The offensive line was one of the biggest distortion points for the patriots last season, and they made efforts to improve their depth by signing Schweitzer and veteran to attack Morgan Moses.
However, there is still a lot of work to do to strengthen the unit in difficulty and give Drake Maye a chance to fight.
