THE Detroit lions accepted a one -year contract on Friday with former New York Jets The tight winger Kenny Yeboah.
Yeboah has caught nine passes for 111 yards in four seasons with the jets and is best known for its blocking prowess.
He left a start and appeared in nine games last season, and caught his first hit in Aaron Rodgers career in the week 11.
The lions are thin in a tight end position, with only Sam Laporta and Brock Wright on the list. LAPORTA established a record for the end of rookie with 86 catches for 889 yards in 2023 and followed with 60 catches for 726 yards while playing injuries last season. Wright is the tight end of primary lions.

The Lions have signed three new players to their defense in free agency, DJ REED CORNEBACK,, Grant Stuard And Tackle defensive Roy Lopez. In attack, they added Yeboah and The Kyle Allen backup quarter.
Yeboah has also played around 75% of special shots in matches that he was active for jets in the past three seasons.
