Kris Boyd will not come back to Houston Texans In 2025. The defensive veteran and the ACE special teams left for the Big Apple.
According to Aaron Wilson of Krpc2 SportsTHE New York Jets And Boyd accepted one year contract conditions. He will now unite his strength with the old Texans Pro Bowl’s corner half and first -year coach Aaron Glenn as a gang Green seems to be a competitive franchise in 2025.
Boyd, a former defensive star in Texas, appeared in the 17 games last season with Houston and played 77% of the Texans’ special shots. He led Houston in plated of special teams with nine solo plated and forced an escape in the eliminatory match against the Chiefs of Kansas City.
Perhaps the most memorable moment in the career of his Texans came after this escape from the Arrowhead stadium. Boyd pushed the coach of the special Texans Frank Ross teams on the sidelines after committing a penalty during a kick -off during the opening.
The Texans coach Demeco Ryans said he was not angry with Boyd, pushing Ross and that social media took out the room out of context. This did not mean that he was satisfied with the way Boyd responded by removing his and throwing his helmet during a live game.
“I think it was more when he was pulled – too shot – and thought he had made a room to help us”, Ryans said in January. “So this story he pushes a coach is incorrect.”
This finally took into account the defeat on the road, which cost Houston a chance to make his first appearance in the AFC conference championship.
Overnight, the jets agreed to deal with St / CB Kris Boyd and Wr Tyler Johnson.

“I took out the ball,” said Boyd after the match. “And while I get up, I look at the screen, I only see white (the colors of Houston) and they all point this way,” said Boyd, thinking that the Texans have recovered. “So I said to myself: ‘Oh yeah, we also have the ball. Turnover. ‘ And I was just turned.
The Texans should feel happy to let Boyd walk in a free agency. Last week, they brought the special teams Ace Termon Smith to a two-year agreement and re-signed MJ Stewart.
During the two Boyd seasons with the Texans, he totaled 11 plated and three plated for the loss.
