Lamar Jackson has a new quarter-backing in Baltimore after the team agreed with a $ 12.2 million contract over two years with Cooper Rush.
Rush started eight games for Dallas Cowboys last season following the injury at the end of the Dak Prescott season, spending 4-4 as QB1.
He became a free agent at the end of the season and is now heading for Ravens on an agreement with guaranteed money of $ 4.2 million.
The 31 -year -old man posted career figures in Yards (1,844) and affected (12) in 2024, launching five interceptions.
Rush was not drafted in the draft of the 2017 NFL before being recovered by the Cowboys, where he stayed until May 2020, when he was canceled and then taken up by the New York Giants.
He never succeeded in the New Jersey training team, however, finally cut and then taken up by the Cowboys for a second visit to Dallas.

He won the rescue position in 2021 and held this role in the last three seasons, offering a much more important role than expected in the last campaign.
Rush’s release fills a hole for Baltimore behind Lamar Jackson, and creates one for Dallas who will now need a quarter of backup.
In the current state of things, Will Grier is the only quarter-back behind Prescott in the cowboys list, and the team should use the NFL draft next month to strengthen its ranks.
