The planned departure of the wide receiver of the Chicago Bears Keenan Allen in 2025, most fans expected that GM Ryan Polas would sign a Pass sensor to replace it, but after the first two days of the range of expenses that would develop without much receptor in the fold, the concerns about which would be the WR3 of the Bears would have started to grow.
But the posts always have a plan, and in this case, this wide receiver plan was Olamide Zaccheaus.
Zaccheaus, 27, began his career with the Falcons of Atlanta as an un residged free agent of Virginia in 2019. He played four seasons in Atlanta before signing with the Eagles of Philadelphia in 2023, then the commanders of Washington, where he appreciated a year of career in 2024.
Zaccheaus finished the 2024 season with 45 catches for 506 yards and three affected and an added value as a quality covers turnover in special teams. At 5 feet 8 inches and 193 pounds, he was looming as a slot machine receiver in the offensive of the Bears de Chicago coach, Ben Johnson, completing what should be the three best receivers of the depth table.

DJ Moore will start the 2025 season as WR1, with Rome Odunze, the ninth choice in total of the NFL 2024 draft, reaching WR2, the place previously run by Allen. This leaves Zaccheaus as the expected WR3 of the slit and drops Tyler Scott, the choice of fourth round of the Bears in 2023, to the fourth wide receiver on the depth panel.
The rest of the wide receiver room of the Bears, as regards currently, includes Maurice Alexander, Samori Toure and John Jackson, none of whom is guaranteed a place of alignment when September takes place.
I would say that Scott is not either; He is disappointed during his first two years in the League.
Here is the key to remember: the Chicago Bears are far from having finished adding wide receivers to this list. Only three receivers – Moore, Odunze and Zaccheaus – are provided a list place, and with most NFL teams carrying five or even six passenger sensors on their Gameday list, there is a lot of room so that the posts invest more free money or a choice of reposting 2025.
The most likely investment that the Bears will make to the broad receiver will occur via the project, where Chicago has two of the first 10 second round choices.
The outlook for a wide receiver that should drag until the second round include Jack Bech from TCU, Elic Ayomanor by Stanford and Ole Miss’ Tre Harris.
