Dallas cowboys added an essential secondary depth last week, a merchant against the corner of Buffalo Bills Kaiir Elam.
Elam, of course, has experienced a few years thanks in large part due to injury problems and inconsistency on the Feild, which led the bills to go from their first -round choice. As a result, Elam comes to Arlington with something to prove.
After all, as he revealed to a contingent of Dallas Cowboys media on Monday, he felt underestimated by his former team and thinks he is capable of much more.

“Coming to Buffalo, I was a child who just wanted to improve and learn and really show my talents, but I have always been placed on the rear seat,” Elam said, via Jon Machota of athletics. “I continued to lower my head and work, I continued to play throughout the season and in the playoffs and things like that. I just took everything I learned from there and all the luggage and improvements that I felt as if I had to do and I just wrapped it and I worked it every day.
In the past three seasons, Elam has missed a total of 22 regular season games and has not recorded any interception of the regular season since his recruit season in 2022. That said, he recorded two interceptions in qualifying series in his career.
Now Elam is in Dallas and ready to take advantage of its new opportunity.
“It was a blessing and a privilege to be exchanged for cowboys,” said Elam. “The big market and the tradition here is something that I am in love at the moment. Being able to prove me and help this team to win is all that I am engaged at the moment.”
Fortunately for Elam, with the uncertainties surrounding the position due to a lack of depth and injuries, its chances of proving should be abundant.
