The days of the free agency come and go fairly quickly.
The NFL – and the cardinals – enter the second week. The signatures do not stop. The reverberations of these signatures change.
The cardinals brought the rusher with a splashing edge of Josh Sweat. They caught a veteran defensive line disruptor in Dalvin Tomlinson. The assured them of bringing back the outdoor secondary baron browning, undoubtedly their top priority of their own free agents. They continued to start goalkeeper Evan Brownand Swing Tackle Kelvin Beachum. They made sure they had a veteran rescue quarter in Jacoby Brissett.
And their body of interior seconds has obtained a potential overhaul with the addition of Akeem Davis-Gonther and Mykal Walker.
There are other movements that could still be made. While the large veteran receiver Zay Jones has been re-signed (and Greg Dortch has been submitted an offer), there remains the possibility of a large veteran receiver. There will probably be an offensive line player or two, although they are depth movements at this stage.
Unless the cardinals see someone note on the market which will lower their price to their taste, this is the point that all NFL teams are starting to appear heavy the draft. The teams will take steps on the recovery weekend, then will see holes afterwards, for a second cycle of trucks with a lesser free agent.
Veterans on the market must decide whether it is logical to sign now or wait for the scenarios.
Already in the mid-1970s with their list, the cardinals also did not have much more bodies to add pre-rôti to fill their off-season list of 91 men (90 + international exemption Te Bernhard Seikovits.)
